Sony has registered domain names for The Last of Us 2 and 3, hinting at the possibility of Naughty Dog's latest survival adventure receiving future sequels.

The domains' registration were reported by Superannuation last night.

Of course, simply registering additional domains doesn't confirm that Sony intends to release sequels to The Last of Us. Publishers regularly register URLs linked to their titles to protect the property.

The Last of Us is due to go on sale four weeks today on June 14.

"Does SCEE have long-term plans for Naughty Dog's new IP?"
