Left Behind will be the first and last single-player DLC for The Last of Us, Naughty Dog community strategist Eric Monacelli has confirmed.

Monacelli explained that multiplayer DLC is up next, but the studio doesn't "have any more single player DLC planned".

Left Behind sees the return of Ellie and sheds a light on her relationship with Riley, her best friend from the military boarding school they both grew up in.

The content will be released February 14 and set you back £11.99, or is free with the Season Pass.

Thats a real shame, i would love to see more from the world of The Last of Us, i mean i could think of five stories i would be interested in to see in a story DLC, like the Ish story, Jeol's brother story, even Jeol's story before he met Elli in the first 10 years of the apocalypse, or even Ellie when she grows up like 10 years later after the main story...

On the plus side... it makes sense, as Naughty Dog likely need to channel effort into their next gen offering (Uncharted plus whatever else they've got on the cards), and TLOU was a pretty well-contained story which doesn't need much extension.

On the negative side... I want more TLOU!
