Fighter's Stronghold to be the last piece of downloadable content for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Bethesda's Pete Hines has revealed that the final piece of downloadable content for Oblivion will be released on October 15 for both PC and Xbox 360. Fighter's Stronghold will be available free of charge for a week via elderscrolls.com (PC) or Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
Fighter's Stronghold is the last of four themed homes (we've previously seen Vile Lair, Thieves Den, and Wizard's Tower). Players will inherit the rights to Battlehorn Castle, located on the Colovian Highlands, west of Chorrol. The castle features all the mod-cons of the time, including a dining hall, barracks, wine cellar, training room and a shrine of Julianos.
PlayStation 3 owners are set to miss out, but can look forward to the release of Shivering Isles which Hines notes should be coming soon "in downloadable form via PSN, or as a standalone retail disc, or both".
Don't count your chickens just yet though, Hines adds: "I can't say definitively yet that it will happen, and I definitely can't say when. But it's looking good, and hopefully we'll have good news soon."

I'm still in shock that the new content is free considering they were charging 200 points for the Horse Armor Pack. Downloading now and will pay the new location a visit later on.
