The Darkness release set for June

Take-Two has announced that the Darkness will be released for Xbox 360 and PS3 in June 2007.

The official MySpace.com page for The Darkness, Take-Two's comic book-inspired ultra-violent FPS, has revealed that the game will be released In North America on June 25, with the European release coming a few days later on June 29. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will arrive on the same day.

The game sees players take on the role of Mafia hitman Jackie Estacado, who on his 21st birthday is possessed by the powers of the Darkness. The game is shaping up very nicely and you should certainly head over to Pro-G TV to see it in action.
