2K Games has released a playable demo of The Darkness which PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers can download now from the PSN store and Marketplace.
UK gamers have been enjoying The Darkness on Xbox 360 for several weeks now, but PlayStation 3 gamers have only been able to get their hands on the supernatural FPS from today.
If you're wavering on whether or not to make a purchase then today's The Darkness demo might help. It's 1.44GB and presumably offers a short section of gameplay designed to convince people to buy the full game. Xbox 360 gamers are also in luck, as the demo is on Xbox LIVE Marketplace too.
Alternatively you could check out our review of the Xbox 360 version - largely the same as the PS3 game - and be convinced that The Darkness is well worth your money.
