More info on Super Stardust HD

Destroy asteroids in this high definition version of the classic shooter.

Sony has today announced the first official details for upcoming PlayStation Network title Super Stardust HD. The game is a high definition version of the classic asteroid-blasting format.

Super Stardust will see players destroying asteroids, avoiding debris and fending off the enemy led by the evil Professor Schaumund.

The game will feature three game modes, including 2-player co-op, plus online rankings to determine who is the ace of outer space. Sony also says that the game will support full high definition visuals at 1080p if your television can handle it.

Super Stardust HD is scheduled for release in June.
