44 songs to be available from the SingStore at launch with more to follow beginning December 17.
Sony has announced that SingStar for PlayStation 3 will launch across Europe on December 7 priced £24.99 or £49.99 with two microphones.
One of the biggest new features found in the PS3 game is the new SingStore, which makes it possible to purchase new songs for your gaming pleasure. Songs will start at 99p, with a selection of 44 tracks available at launch. These will include a selection of those found in previous SingStar titles, plus new songs from The Manic Street Preachers, Zutons & Depeche Mode.
Downloading will continue in the background, meaning there's no need to put down the mic. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has also announced that the first batch of regular new content for the SingStore will arrive on December 17.
