Gamecock to publish TimeGate's new sci-fi shooter

Section 8, a cross-platform sci-fi shooter from the creator's of F.E.A.R. Extraction Point is scheduled for release in 2009.

TimeGate Studios, creators of the acclaimed Kohan series and F.E.A.R. Extraction Point, has today announced that Gamecock Media Group will publish its upcoming cross-platform sci-fi shooter, Section 8.

"We are ecstatic to be working with a publisher as developer-friendly and supportive of original ideas as Gamecock," said Adel Chaveleh, President and CEO of TimeGate. "Section 8 is our most ambitious project to date, and it's really exciting to have the full support of our publisher to deliver the absolute best game possible."

Section 8 is currently scheduled for release in 2009.
