Play The Who's Super Bowl performance in Rock Band

Special recording of the band's half-time show to be released when game finishes.

Fans of The Who are in for a treat this Super Bowl Sunday. MTV Games and Harmonix have announced that the legendary band's Super Bowl XLIV half-time performance will be released onto the Rock Band Music Store immediately after the match finishes. Initially it'll be available on Xbox 360 and Wii, with the PS3 version arriving soon after.

The Rock Band version won't be the live performance as seen during the game, but a specially recorded set called “The Who Super Bowl S-mashup”. No European release has been confirmed, but in the US it will set you back $1.99, 160 Microsoft Points or 200 Wii Points.
