Resistance 3 ad spotted on movie set

The film's release date points to a 2011 debut for Insomniac's FPS sequel.

A billboard advertisement for Resistance 3, the third entry in Insomniac Games' FPS series on PS3, has been spotted on the film set of what is believed to be Battle: Los Angeles.

The movie is produced by Sony's Columbia Pictures and has a planned release date of February 2011. This suggests a 2011 release date for Resistance 3.

The ad also features the Statue of Liberty in the Resistance logo, suggesting the third instalment will be set in New York.

Neither Insomniac nor Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed the development of Resistance 3.

Resistance in New York?! Awesome, i can see regular instalments of this game based in each major country. Like Russia or Afghanistan which could be up as 4.
