Updated Resident Evil 6 patch out at 5pm on PlayStation Network

Should fix problems buyers of the digital version of Capcom's game are having.

Capcom and Sony have will release an updated patch for Resident Evil 6 on the PlayStation 3 at 5pm, Sony has tweeted. The update will available to download via PSN and should pop up the next time you play the game.

Players who bought Resident Evil 6 from the PlayStation Store and downloaded the day one patch have suffered from a problem that left the game unplayable. The updated patch should allow digital Resident Evil 6 players to boot the game and access RE.net, Capcom's stat website.
