The Resi veteran is joined by newcomer Excella Gionne.
Japanese video game magazine Famitsu (thanks to IGN for the translation) has revealed two additional characters who will be appearing in Capcom's Resident Evil 5.
First up is Wesker, the former captain of S.T.A.R.S. Unit who made his first appearance way back in the first Resident Evil title. He has also appeared in Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil DS.
Joining Wesker is Excella Gionne, a family member of the founder of the TriCell Pharmaceutical Company. She runs the company's African branch and is aligned with Wesker.
Resident Evil 5 is scheduled for release on March 13, 2009 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
