Expects Street Fighter IV to sell 1.7 mil and Bionic Commando 1.5 mil.
In its annual report, Japanese publisher Capcom has revealed projected sales for three of its biggest upcoming titles.
It expects Resident Evil 5, what it describes as "the newest addition to our biggest franchise" to sell 2.3 million units, Street Fighter IV to sell 1.7 million units and Bionic Commando to sell 1.5 million units.
We reckon Capcom's estimate for Resi 5 is pretty conservative, given the massive amount of hype and interest the game currently enjoys. Capcom's estimate for Street Fighter IV and Bionic Commando sound about right.

Wii owners want Street fighter 4 too. Im even willing to bet that a wii version would sell more than the next gen versions.
There is no excuse for this. Just look at the sales numbers for Smash Brothers Brawl. Over 7 millions units sold. All those users are potential Street Fighter 4 owners should it come out on the wii. Thats not including the people who stay away from smash bros because it doesnt play like the Capcom games.
As for controls...there is the classic controller and there are wii fighting sticks that can be used to play these games the way they are suppose to play.
But for the wii user who just has the wiimote. I would suggest compressing the six button layout into 3 the same way its done in Tatsunoko vs Capcom. You take the most useful and combo-able of the Light, Medium, and Strong attacks...and map them to buttons 1 (light) , 2 (medium), and 1 & 2 (strong). also (b) could be used to grab...and (A) could be used for an Automatic super...simple..for the casual gamer.
an example would be..for light attacks....standing light attack would be a jab punch...ducking light attack would be a crounching light kick.
The casual gamer is the only one who would need this...a core gamer is willing to get or already has a classic controller or fighting stick. these users will have all the moves at their disposal
as for graphics..tatsunoko vs capcom....make it as good as that and we're good
whats keeping these guys...if its in the works...announce it already...we're angry..and we're waiting.
