Looking at providing 'portions' of content instead of a 'traditional, massive' expansion pack.
EA is considering giving Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 fans "portions" of post-release content that focus on one particular part of the game, instead of a single, all-encompassing expansion pack.
Speaking to VideoGamer.com in an interview to be published later this week, producer and C&C TV presenter David Silverman said that EALA would "address the fans' needs faster" by providing "portions" of a traditional expansion pack.
He said: "I don't know if we're going to follow a pipeline of, here's a traditional expansion pack, maybe looking at something that allows us to be a little bit more nimble and address the fans' needs faster by offering portions of that. So instead of, here's your giant massive $40-50 expansion pack, maybe it's, 'oh you want more story?', well here's the campaign expansion, 'you want more multiplayer maps and what not?', here's the multiplayer expansion, 'you want to play co-op?', here's the co-op expansion. If we can start to think about it like that it allows us to be a little bit more nimble and help address the demand from the fans faster."
While the PC version of RTS Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 was released last Friday, the Xbox 360 version won't be out until November 14. A PS3 version is currently in the works but without a release date.

Well more everything is good but the thing that would be better for me would have to be more coop and multiplayer co-op is so cool!

The Yuri Faction

I say throw in more countries, like the old red alert 2. They had Germany, Libya, Iraq, Britain, and China I believe. All of which had their own special unit. Maybe they could each have their own naval unit as well. All along with new online maps. Which could be large and small. Another key would be more units. What about a unit creator?

yeah bring on more units and new countries for skirmish and campaign,
maybe throw in subfactions?

more units and epic units like we saw in tiberium wars expansion. Unique units for different nations such as germany, britain korea ect.

Gates to go with the walls,
Different countries & unique units yo with them,
THE ABILITY TO RANDOMLY GENERATE MAPS ( like in the old Tiberian Sun ),
World Conquest ( like in Kane's Wrath ),
New campaigns,
8 player skirmish maps,
How about Light , Medium and Heavy tank varieties in each faction like the old red alert 1???
Garrison able watch towers,
Sand bags & barbed wire?? Cheap emergency defences...
More content, more unit, defence & structure availability.
It seems EA keep improving the C&C games in many ways but scrap some of the good ideas from previous installments. BRING THEM ALL BACK!!!!!!!!

Hm, I'm a bit of a skirmish player myself, honestly. But the Spy/Shinobi needs a little more bonus to it for cracking an opponent's defenses and getting into a building... like maybe new units for slipping into a faction's tech lab, maybe see how much go-juice they have on their power grid, how much green they've got at the refinery... stuff like that. Oh, and the engineers should be allowed to fix up the civilian buildings that get damaged.

id say a yuri expansion would be good and more sub factions
Anonymous wrote at 13:41 on 27 November 2008
yeah sub factions like the soviets can have like an entirely Tesla based sub faction and would include new Tesla based units like the Tesla tank and they could also have like the new types of main infantry like confessor cabal and the allies could have a mirage, spectrum, and maybe a ice based oh and a chrono based sub factions and and maybe the units like the navy seal and the gi's can come back but with a whole special forces look to it like rainbow six and they would be able to swim and stuff, oh and the chrono legionnaire can have a comeback than the Japanese could have like a bionic sub faction like in Kane's wrath oh and maybe they can have a like a giant aircraft bomber and base it on a dragon or something oh and also like a Psychic based sub faction like Yuri's faction. and like they should put like new secondary commandos like boris for the soviets

Better faction optimising and much better powers. Here are some of the examples: The Empire power, (sorry, but i forgot the name) which should be some kind of ambush, is totaly useless. Five very weak soldiers come poppin' out of the ground with a speed of a snail! Then they, of course, get killed, and you now have to wait for the "cool power" to recharge after a few minutes. Then, some powers, like the American Time Bomb, are very frustrating. Imagine this: you build a cool force after 10 minutes of defending against the enemy, and you're finally happy, and want to attack. You expect a nice and fair fight and enemy retaliation. Oh, but no, they just hit you with a bomb you can't destroy, and blow up half of your force. Is this the game that requires a good strategy and thinking? I'm not sure. And finally, the simillar case, this time with the Soviets. They have some kind of ray that sucks your units into space. If we don't count this, the game is nice, but needs a lot of patches and mods. And where are all of the good-old units? Why is everything all so futuristic? Why havent they saved this for C&C3? And why the hell did they change the awesome Rhino tank with this SCI-Fi Hammer tank???

More skirmish maps that are bigger and allow more players.

YURI! Yeah, it would be great to see Yuri back and with a brand new warfare, UFO's, aliens..! And, like skeewoop said, more factions like in RA2 (France, Germany, Libya...).
