Quantum of Solace is GoldenEye for a new generation and by far the best Bond game we've had in years. Praise really doesn't come much higher than that.

Then theres the multiplayer. wow, facility anyone? yep its back and better than ever, along with 14 other maps, 10 of which are amazing. If you loved CoD4 then you need this, it feels very similar to Modern Warfare but it comes without the flaws. The reviews ive seen for Quantum so far have amazed me (i serioulsy cant understand where all the 7's and 8's are coming from. The wording in this review is spot on and from now on i'll be reading this site a lot.
Trust me, this game is essential.

Glad to see you actually played the game for the review. I'm not joking - I've had many of my games 'reviewed' where they talk about features which never made it into the game. And don't get me started on reviewers who take XBox titles and simply press copy/paste and swap in the word PS3.

Also, If u dont like 1 guys opinion on 1 website, why spam and cry that you dont agree with his/hers review.
if all elce, ignore that score but take on his good/bad points on the game and make ur own opinion if you yourself think its worth buying.

Oh yeah, play Quantum on 007 mode people, its a 12 hour game then. its far too easy on New Recruit. I want them to re release Bunker as a 'new' map after seeing what they did with Faciilty. What a game, i cant get enough. Beats CoD4 hands down

If it does, I might consider getting the Wii version... otherwise I might not bother with this one.

Online you start with 3 default main weapons, one grenade and a pistol. As you continue to play you earn points, which you use to buy main weapons, sidearms, attachments, grenades, gadgets and perks like 'more health' or 'make less noise' etc.
I didn't add it up but I reckon around 100,000 points to buy the lot.
Then you can customise using one main weapon, one sidearm, one grenade-type, 2 gadgets/perks/attachments, and you can also buy perks that allow more customisation (e.g. carry more 'nades, more weapons and so on).
You'll basically get slaughtered in your first outings if you end up in a room with kitted out vets, I recommend the flak armor for your first 300 points or extra health for 500 points as soon as you can go shopping.
It plays pretty much like RB6V or most any online shooter these days, just less refined and nowhere near as pretty. Everytime I run it sounds like I have 3 legs, which is a little off-putting.
Other than that it's pretty solid, hit detection seems fine, there's no finesse like kill-cams, you just shoot people or get shot and respawn 5 seconds later until either the time's up or the objective is met or the score limit is reached depending on your mode, and there are lots of modes.

Are there any sort of modes like License to Kill/One Hit kills? That was hugely amazing in GoldenEye.
