News
90 Day membership reduced to only £7.99 for two weeks.
Sleeping Dogs, the hit open-world action game from Square Enix, will be made available for free to all PlayStation Plus members from February 6, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced.
Also coming free to PS Plus for PS3 in February are Codemasters' F1 Race Stars and Quantum Conundrum.
PS Vita owners are also in for a treat, with WipEout 2048 free from February 13, followed by Lumines Electric Symphony free from February 20.
And that's not all. From February 6 until February 20, a 90 day PlayStation Plus membership is being reduced by 30 per cent to £7.99. This offer is good for new members and also stacks on top of existing memberships.

They charged 15 quid for them and then gave them away the next month on the PS network :P
Sales will not follow constantly if they did that more often.

The sub offers for starters can be a month, 3 months or a year. Not only that but PSN+ is already on VITA so it's already not restricted to one console but one PSN account and is multiplatform on Sony consoles.
I also don't understand your logic with LIVE as again it's your account that has the Gold subscrption.
The only thing that don't carry are your points over to your Windows Phone account but Windows PC does.

Microsoft are doing the exact same thing, currently offering deals on 2 year Live subscriptions and a bunch of deals on the Marketplace.
We could end up slaves to services instead of consoles next gen, if we're not there already.

After my sub runs out in June I'm tempted to resub!
