Bicceh what HDTV have you got and are you running in 1080P or not I have a Samsung LCD tv running in 720P and whenever there is more than around 6 men on screen they move like they are running through treacle. All the reports I have read regarding this issue say it is a bug and none suggest that running it through an HDTV improve performance if anything they say it will degrade the performance because of the demands put on the machine in order to run it in HD Sorry mate but having traded FIFA 08 in for this the speed problems make it un playable.
PES2008 only runs at 720P max so i can't run it above anything you're running so the HD TV wont make any difference. The only problems when i have slowdown is during corners - baring in mind i have stadium effects off if you havent.
My friend just got an HDMI to DVI cable to replace his current connection and its much better now
i havent seen NUTS as a sponsor by the way - only IGN
