Amaterasu's epic tale given high definition upgrade with support for PS Move.
PlayStation 2 classic Okami is getting a high definition release exclusively on PlayStation 3, Capcom has announced.
Okami HD has the player take on the role of Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess, who inhabits the form of a wolf. After a tyrannical monster, Orochi, turns the world into a ruined, colourless wasteland, Amaterasu must use her magical abilities to restore the land to its previous glory and defeat the demon in charge of the destruction.
In addition to high definition visuals – you can see how much better it looks in the video below – the game also boasts PlayStation Move support for painting with the Celestial Brush, although a regular controller can also be used as in the PS2 game.
There are also 51 trophies to earn.
Okami HD will be released this autumn via the PlayStation Store priced £15.99.
