Ninja Gaiden Sigma Special Edition detailed

Includes behind the scenes footage, high-res box art and unlock codes, but currently no plans for Euro release.

Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden Sigma looks to be getting the Special Edition treatment, at least over in North America, where video game retailer Gamestop has listed a Special Edition set.

The $69.99 Special Edition will include behind the scenes footage, high resolution box art and special codes which will unlock Ryu and Rachael missions. However, according to Eidos, the publisher bringing the game to Europe, there are no plans to release the Special Edition over here.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is an enhanced remake of Team Ninja's Xbox action title Ninja Gaiden Black, and features high definition visuals, a new playable character in the shape of Rachael and duel-sword combat.

The game is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3 in the summer.
