NFS Shift demo confirmed for PS3/360

Will be available to download from October 1.

EA has announced that the console demo of Need for Speed: Shift will be available to download on October 1, 2009, for Xbox 360 and PS3.

The demo features the world-famous Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and the tight city circuit of London River. Players will get to race in the BMW M3 (E46), 2008 Dodge Viper SRT10, 2006 Lotus Elise 111R and the 2008 Nissan GT-R.

Race well, collecting enough stars, and you'll unlock the Pagani Zonda F.

Ended up seeing it at 4am my time 2nd October. Well worth the scrutiny but I bought it today and It is a kick arse racing game. Well worth the cash.

Who can recommend a good all round racing wheel for PS3?

Yea for PS3 the store doesnt update until thursday 4pm for us brits. Unless they do a special access and release something like UC2 earlier.

I have had every intention of buying this over the last coupla days but have been far too busy at work. Now I can relax and download the demo and let the test prove whether I really want it.
