MvC2 demo makes it to Europe

Two-player local matches with six characters available to choose from.

Capcom's Marvel VS Capcom 2 is expected for release at the end of June, but European PS3 owners can get their hands on a substantial playable demo today - the demo was released on the North American PlayStation Store on April 30.

The sizeable sample includes:

- Two-player local matches
- Six available characters – Ryu, Chun-Li, Strider, Spider-Man, Iron Man and Wolverine
- Seven selectable environments
- Upscaled 1080p graphics
- Widescreen or 4:3 aspect ratio
- Two graphic filter options for character sprites
- And other cool options to check out

Capcom did the same with the SSF2 HD demo. I'd like to be able to play the demo so I can determine if I prefer the PS3 or 360 pad though.

Why no 1-player, or online? I don't have £40 spare to go buy an extra pad just to play this! Capcom really don't have a clue when it comes to demo-ing fighters.

Meh, I'll almost certainly be buying the full game anyway. Didn't need the demo, even though it mysteriously turned up on my PS3 a couple of weeks ago!
