That's a very wide price range. You won't see the PS3 as low as £200 for several years.

sure but snake is ageing faster than he should be because he is a clone of a 50 year old man(plus hes been injected with a virus called foxdie) but it still sucks to be playing an old snake. The thing is that im used to snake being younger and it just shows how very MORTAL snake is. But i understand your opinion,sure.

Dont let the Price fool u! even considered reading on wat the PS3 can actually do for you? Look at the Spec and functions. compare it to the Average Computer u can buy! then jump to a conclusion. Heck, this is a BEAST!! I WANT ONE NOW!

jesus christ! stop being such babies about the price. i already have a ps3 and the price wasnt a big deal.i actually payed even more for it because i ordered it on ebay.com cuz they were all sold out in stores. and the reason why it is so expensive ps3 guy is because of all that it can do. the new userinterface has everything. u can download music and videos from ur ipod, digital photos, it is webcam and bluetooth adaptable, and it has 3x as much GB space as the xbox360. i have already used up 20 gigs on my ps3. u cant do crap with the 20 gig model. and the cell processor and blu-ray player. it had a web browser that is fast and nice to watch videos on from such sites as youtube.com. i have downloaded playable demos from online like motorstorm and lemmings and nba '07. the web access is free and the ps3 has an "always online" function that allows you to be online at all times and send and recieve messages to and from friends right on your user interface through the playstation network. even while you are busy playing a game offline you will be online. it just signs u off when you play a ps2 game because they are not playstation network compatible. you can play ps1,2,and 3 games and can download your memory card data onto the harddrive. on the 360, u have to start all xbox games over from the beginning and cant play xbox games unless you download an update from online and not everyone has xbox live..

also, im actually looking up other stuff on my ps3 web browser as i type this from my laptop
listen to "Viper" above my posts.
the ps3 isnt expensive just for profit.
it is expensive because it took more money to make and has so much stuff in it

And that load of crap annoyed the crap out of me! The only plus the PS3 has over the 360 is the free online thing. That is it! As far as I can tell, there is not one game worth a crap that is worth getting the PS3 for. Hell, all their exclusive games are making their way the the 360. They have to offer the PS online crap free otherwise there is no reason, for the moment, to get one at all! The PS3 is expensive as crap, it has NO good games for it yet, (hell, even MGS 4 might go to the 360! That's bad!), it is harder to write for than the other two, it's SDK costs at least twice more than the nearest competitor, and NO GOOD GAMES!

This is the problem with all PS3 fanboi arguments! Why buy a $600 system that does not deliver what you bought it for?????? Grin

I have both consoles X360 and PS3 and to be frank buy a PS3. You may not think it but after u add up the cost of chargers and HD drives, u get more from a PS3. In the next few months great titles are coming out for PS3 e.g The Getaway, Saints Row, GTA IV, Driver 5 etc.
The friends list and dashboard arent as good as X360 but that really doesn't matter.
PS3 uses universal accessories where as with the Xbox You have to fork out for Xbox accessories which cost an absolute bomb.
For Example
Wifi adapter PS3 (built in on 60 gig not on 20 gig)=£10 - £20
Wifi adapter for X360 = £60
My X360 has broke twice and crashes constantly due to the rubbish single fan which is so loud that I can hear it at the same time as my 500w surround sound.
The PS3 is silent and never crashes.
Online Play
In online matches on the X360 lagg is common, where as on PS3 u hardley ever get lagg.
Defininition : lag is when the game is jerky and slow because the people you are playing against have a crap internet connection because they live in a remote part of the world and have never heard of the latest thing called ''broadband''.
So to sum up save up and buy the well built PS3
