No plans for MGS4 bundle in UK

Sony confirms UK gamers might not be offered the Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bundle.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has confirmed that the newly announced Metal Gear Solid 4 PlayStation 3 console bundle and the God of War: Chains of Olympus PSP console bundle are not currently planned for release in Europe.

"We have no plans to release either bundle at the moment," a SCEE spokesperson told VideoGamer.com this morning.

The MGS4 bundle, scheduled for a Q2 release in North America, will include an 80GB PS3, a DualShock 3 controller and copy of the game. The God of War bundle will include a deep red PSP with Kratos silkscreened on the back, a copy of God of War: Chains of Olympus, Superbad on UMD video and a voucher to download Syphon Filter: Combat Ops from PlayStation Store for free.

Re-phase that the 360 is to be honest with. You and before anyone waste typing away and making a pointless argument have the PS3 and the 360, and the 360 is probably the most loved console in the UK.

Not really bothered about a bundle for MGS4, I'm getting the normal Edition anyway. Why waste money on the game as I do have a hunch that it maybe a huge let down and very overrated as well.

I agree, i will only buy a ps3 when they give us a decent ps3 bundle. In the uk we always get ripped off.

no mgs bundle, no full game of gran turismo till next year, no dual shock 3 with console, no 60 gb 80gb 120gb console in uk, no white or silver console? come on sony you'll never get the sony faithfull to by the ps3 they will by the 360. i'm coming close to getting the 360 myself.
