New Metal Gear info at E3?

Kojima hints at possible announcement come June.

Metal Gear Solid series creator Hideo Kojima revealed last week that an announcement regarding the future of the franchise could be made at E3 in June.

Speaking to an audience at the Apple store in San Francisco, Kojima responded to a tease about the next Metal Gear which was featured at the end of this GDC keynote.

"I can't really speak specifically right now," he told Gametrailers TV host Geoff Keighly. "I can say right now is maybe we can do some announcement during E3."

Asked if he's going back on his previous statements that he was going to leave the franchise in someone else's hands, Kojima replied:

"I can't say anything about that, either. I'm a little jet-lagged, though, so excuse me for that. [laughs]"
