Metal Gear Solid 4 trophy patch coming on August 6

Trophies and full install support heading to MGS4 on Monday.

The patch adding trophy support and full installation support to Metal Gear Solid 4 will launch on August 6, Kojima Productions has announced.

That's next Monday.

The patch adds 34 trophies to Hideo Kojima's 4-year old espionage game, and includes the ability to fully install the game, removing the frustrating installs between chapters.

Kojima Productions is currently developing Metal Gear Solid 5. In July, Kojima revealed that he would be demonstrating a first look at his next-gen engine, Fox Engine, later this month.

Yeah and you will have to start with a new save as well from my experience with the first Uncharted game.

So does that mean for players who have completed the game, they will have to go back and re-do it to get the trophies?
