Metal Gear Solid 4 cutscenes are feature length

Mag reveals that Kojima's latest has taken in-game cutscenes to a whole new level.
The Metal Gear Solid series is famous for its cutscenes, MGS2 has one that ran to around 45 minutes, but in the latest and possibly final game in the Solid Snake saga gamers will need to prepare themselves for cutscenes approaching movie runtimes.
PSW magazine has told CVG that the game has several cutscenes that near the 90 minute mark, with the story said to be massive - described as the "videogame equivalent of all three Godfather movies".
The good news is that if you're coming to the end of a long gaming session and suddenly find yourself in a 90 minute cutscene it can be paused or skipped.
Issue 108 of PSW is on sale now and Metal Gear Solid 4 is scheduled for release on June 12.

I realize that not everyone will be thrilled at this, but I actually am. This game is the reason I bought a PS3--I gotta see how the story ends. The fact that Kojima san is giving me as much story as can possibly fit on a Blu-Ray disc makes me quite happy. If you don't like games with a lot of cutscenes or story then don't bother, but don't complain either, no one is making you play it.

OR developers will finally realise that some glitzy cut scene does NOT EQUAL A GOOD GAME.
