Giant US-based video game retailer EB Games has informed customers that it now expects Metal Gear Solid 4 to be released in March 2008.
Although Konami hasn't actually revealed the release date for Metal Gear Solid 4, US video game retailer EB Games had listed the game for release in September 2007. This date always seemed optimistic and was probably only there as a placeholder, so it really comes as no great surprise that the game's release date has now been pushed back considerably.
According to EB Games, Metal Gear Solid 4 is now lined-up for release in North America on March 1, 2008. It's probably worth taking this new release date with a pinch of salt, but a March 2008 release does sound more likely than the previous September 2007 date.
It's also likely that the game will arrive in Japan first, then in the US and finally across Europe.
