EA and Pandemic's open-world, explosive action title finally has a release date.
A new trailer for Mercenaries 2: The World in Flames over on the game's official website has revealed the game will be released in North America on August 31 for Xbox 360. GameSpot has gained confirmation that the date applies to the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and PC editions. Europe will see the game around a week later on September 5.
We were big fans of the first Mercenaries title, the game receiving a commendable 8/10 back in 2005, with particular praise lavished on the ability to destroy lots of stuff.
