Capcom has announced it plans to support the release of Lost Planet 2 with additional multiplayer maps, the first of which are scheduled for release alongside the game on May 11.

Map Pack #1 will feature 'Helix' and 'Back to the Island' maps, adding an underwater mining facility and an island to the shipped game's nine multiplayer maps.

There's no word on if Map Pack #1 will be free or paid for content.

their obvisouly going to charge for it.
if it was free they would have just put it on the disk.
i hope its not due to space limitations on M$'s beloved DVD format which has already caused this title problems.

If it were any other developer I would say it might be free but Capcom will definitely make us pay.

Paid for DLC at launch is pretty outrageous. I can only imagine these will be free of charge.
