LittleBigPlanet release confirmed for October 24

Promises to change gaming forever.
The wait for Sony Computer Entertainment's LittleBigPlanet is almost over, with confirmation today that the PlayStation 3 exclusive is to be released in the UK on October 24, 2008.
Developed by Guildord-based Media Molecule, LittleBigPlanet combines traditional platform gameplay with a social community that encourages user generated content. Players can literally build their own game, from basic character customisation to fully realised levels which can then be shared with the rest of the community - the final part of LittleBigPlanet's Play, Create, Share message.
Earlier reports of an October 20 release date are false, with Sony confirming that the date issued was an error.

Yup this year will probably be the best year for gamers, for centuries. LBP looks great and brings in something new and refreshing which is a great feel, from what I'm feeling anyway. So many games..... And so hard to obtain them all at once, looks like 2009 will be the year for half of them to be gained.
