UK Video Game Chart: Just Dance sticks at No.1

Gives Ubisoft its fourth week at the top in 2010.

GfK ChartTrack reports that Ubisoft's Just Dance has held on to the All Formats All Prices video game chart, giving the publisher its fourth week at the top in 2010 - more than any other publisher.

Just Dance has been the biggest selling Wii game every week this year - apart from in week 1 when it was bettered by Wii Fit Plus - and is also the third best-selling third-party Wii game ever in the UK, behind SEGA's Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and Take-Two's Carnival Funfair Games.

There were sales drops across the board in the Top 40 and no new entries to report, although this looks set to change next week with the release of Splinter Cell: Conviction on Xbox 360 and GTA: Episodes from Liberty City on PS3/PC.

The TV adds a lie, depending on your point of view, but I the tech does work kinda, you do actually need to follow the dace at the right time to make the game work, but only if the batteries on the remote are fully, so even if you do find it fun the remote will pick up actions worse and worese each round so the competion of the game wouldn't if someone just joins in like they do in the adverts because of the fact the the people join will all have an advantage. But atleast when it works it can be a good dancing sim.

Just Dance again? I haven't played the game but the TV ad makes it look more fun than it is. I love the Dance Dance Revolution games even though they aren't a true dancing simulator but this looks like you're just waving your one hand holding the Wii Remote around to win while the rest of your body isn't required at all. At least with the DDR games your using both of your feet.
