Heads-up: What's new this week
A look ahead to Friday's new releases.
Welcome to Heads-up, VideoGamer.com's weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.

Following the rather excellent Batman: Arkham Asylum is tough, but there looks to be enough hitting stores this week to keep most gamers happy. Our picks include the PC superhero MMO, Champions Online from Cryptic, and Nintendo's Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii - featuring motion-equipped versions of Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, plus the Wii game Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. If they don't take your fancy, then there's also the Final Fantasy beat-em up Dissidia: Final Fantasy for PSP, and competent aerial combat in IL2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey.

Anyway, I'll be getting Dissidia, the best game on the list by far.
