Sony's director of PlayStation Home, Pete Edwards, has said that PlayStation Home micro-transactions are not currently a priority for Sony, but a business model does exist.

"It’s been a long road," said Edwards at the London Games Conference. "We've proved there is a market out there and we've got a lot of people that spend a lot of time in [Home]. It’s not a priority right now but there is a business model there."

Speaking earlier this year, Edwards revealed that European Home users spend an average of 56 minutes in Home per session.

It's quite good going to the event site when there's something on. The Buzz game was fun and the EA, Capcom etc sections are good. There's always a fair few people on it too so it's nice to see that some people like it.

I rarely go into Home and any time I do try it usually involves a lengthy update so I don't bother.
