PlayStation Home readies for gamescom

The PlayStation Events Space is re-opening its doors.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that the Presentation Podium section of the PlayStation Events Space will be used to host content from the forthcoming gamescom event in Cologne, Germany.

Elliott Linger, European Product Manger has told Home users to “check out the video that will be in the Presentation Podium” when it opens today. “It will contain a few little surprises…”

Unfortunately the Presentation Podium won't be offering a live stream of SCEE's gamescom conference. You can expect footage after the press conference has finished and the Home team will be doing its best to get this footage to the Home inhabitants as soon as possible.

That's not all. The PlayStation Events Space is also home to a brand new mini-game “Shape Blast” - a trophy for your Harbour Studio is up for grabs.
