Quantic Dream's next game already written

Will be released sooner than you think.

Speaking to Geoff Keighley on the latest episode of GameTrailers TV, Quantic Dream founder and Heavy Rain writer David Cage has revealed his next game is already written and will be released sooner than we think.

"I have written the next game, so I have a very clear idea," said Cage. "It's not fully written, it's still in the synopsis stage, but I have a very clear idea for where I want to go next.

"I don't want just to make some kind of sequel or whatever, I really want to continue to explore and discover new things and experiment, this is what I'm really excited about."

He added that the game is going to be "very different" and "very surprising". Keighley then moved onto the topic of a release date, assuming it to be some time off. However, Cage suggested that isn't the case.

"Yeah, maybe less than you think," said Cage.

Heavy Rain is out now only on PS3.
