2010 is the 'right time' to release Heavy Rain
Quantic Dream believes it is important the game is 'polished up until the last minute'.
Guillaume de Fondaumiere, CEO of Quantic Dream, has confirmed that the hugely impressive-looking PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain will be released in 2010.
"We've always known that we had a window to release the game, and it's important for us to finish it the right way," Fondaumiere told GamesIndustry.biz. "We've got some margin either way, to some degree, but again I think there's a responsibility, and we don't want to deceive - so it's important for the game to be polished up until the last minute."
Fondaumiere also expressed that not releasing the game in the busy Christmas period will help Heavy Rain achieve commercial success.
"It's a very crowded place to be, and certain games need more space to live their life. Everybody working on the project, both at Quantic and Sony, believe this is the right time," he said.

Better to be polished than rushed methinks ;) With the likes of Bioshock 2 & Dragon Age, Alpha Protocol, Uncharted 2, Assassins Creed II plus MW2. I wouldn't of brought Heavy Rain straight the way.
I wonder if it would be a Killzone 2 type of release? Bundled with the console as well... Would be a great boost in sales as well.
