Neversoft working on FPS game
The Guitar Hero developer is creating a shooter with single and multiplayer elements.
If you were getting concerned about the lack of FPS games, fear ye not: Neversoft is working on one at the moment.
The Guitar Hero developer is currently looking to hire several new staff members with FPS experience, including a network programmer, senior technical artist, and several level designers - seemingly for both single and multiplayer.
Aside from their work on the Guitar Hero series, Neversoft are best known for making the Tony Hawk series up until 2008, when the franchise passed to Robomodo. The studio has never made an FPS game before, although they did make Gun - the western-themed third person shooter, which was relatively well-received.
The jobs were espied by gamerzines on Neversoft's official recruitment page.
The last Guitar Hero game, Warriors of Rock, received a 7 in our review.

I have requested that song via that form several times since pre-RB1 days! :p
It's not necessarily the bands, but the songs chosen that matter...

Purple's 'Child in Time' was released a short while back so I'm hoping it may be a precursor to a Deep Purple track pack at some point in the near future - would be nice!

Before the sadly stopped putting out tracks for the GH series, that was really more music, not necessarily to my taste, but fun to play.
The next song on my wishlist, and first series to put it out will win a purchase, is 'Strange Kind of Woman' (Deep Purple).
