Presenter says Rockstar's epic trains gamers to kill.
CNN's Glenn Beck has launched an astonishing attack on GTA 4, saying on US television that it helps train gamers to kill.
Spotted on YouTube by Kotaku, Beck attempted to convince viewers that GTA 4 helps train gamers to be real world killers.
He said: "It took 75 years and countless billions of dollars to train our soldiers to kill. Today 60 bucks buys your kid the same thing. Whatever happened to Pong?"
His comments will come as some surprise to the millions of gamers who have already bought and played GTA 4 without feeling the need to kill anyone.
He added: "If you think that video games are just harmless fun, which everybody always says, you should know that our military and our leaders at the Pentagon have never seen it that way.
"GTA 4 is projected to sell nine million copies just by the end of the year. That's $450 million just in sales. And who says crime doesn't pay?"

Cause I never saw where GTA 4 teaches me how to pick-a-part an AK-5 in 12 seconds or how to engage an enemy in close quarter combat in Iraq... You sir have NO Respect for us soldiers and what we go through during both training and real war... But please let me demonstrate on you how to effectively kill an enemy, you might appreciate it, I know I would.

Even if playing countless hours of this game teaches you how to use weapons to a certain degree, how the hell are you going to use your knowledge gained from playing this game if you don't have any dang weapons? If you play a game like gta and you do anything gta related in the real world because you played the game your behind shouldn't be playing videogames in the first place.

heres what i think. GTA 4 and all games are exactly what they are and that a god damn game. if some dumbass plays GTA 4 and goes and kills a cop he was a dumbass before and GTA 4 didnt influence him. i think the government should be spending OUR (meaning gamers and everone else) tax money on ppl who arnt completely freaking retarded and have nothing better to do then try and ban a good game.
