Speaking to Reuters, Take-Two chief executive Ben Feder has revealed that he expects sales of Grand Theft Auto IV to eclipse pre-release predictions made by Wall Street.

"Our expectations are very high, higher than analysts give the game credit for," Feder told Reuters. "All the analysts had a (sales) number, give or take, and I think we will be on the upside of that rather than the downside."

Grand Theft Auto IV had been tipped to sell 5.8 million units in week one, with sales this year reaching a massive 13 million units.
