Package to celebrate fourth year of the GT Academy programme comes complete with DLC.
Sony has announced (via EU PlayStation Blog) the Gran Turismo 5: Academy Edition, due for release on September 26.
The re-released version of the 2010 driving sim marks the fourth year of Sony's collaboration with Nissan on the GT Academy programme.
Academy Edition will ship with a host of extras not seen in the original release, including DLC previously available on the PlayStation Store.
- Complete Pack (Car Pack, Course Pack, Special Paint Pack, Racing Gear Pack)
- Car Pack 2
- Car Pack 3 and Course Pack 2
- The Nissan GTR driven in this year’s Nurburgring 24 hour race by series creator Kazunori Yamauchi.
"GT Academy has captured the imagination of many Gran Turismo fans," said Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi. "It is exciting to watch what Lucas Ordóñez, Jordan Tresson, Jann Mardenborough and Bryan Heitkotter in the USA, are achieving in their new racing careers with Nissan."
Sony has said that more info is to be revealed on the title soon. It'll retail for £19.99.
