Gran Turismo 5 box art revealed

Features the the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe remains tight lipped over the European release date for Gran Turismo 5, but it has given fans something to chew on having unveiled the game's official box art.

The cover features what some motoring journalists are calling the car of 2010 - the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG.

The SLS, due to be officially launched at the Geneva Motorshow in March, is the spiritual successor to the 1954 300SL Gullwing and promises to be every bit as astounding a piece of automotive engineering as the original 300SL was. The supercar can go from 0-60 in just 3.8 seconds and has a top speed close to 200mph.

At least the cover arts pretty cool, as opposed to the shoddy efforts of Mass Effect 2...
