Teaser asks: Will vengeance bring redemption?

Sony is teasing an announcement set for April 19, which is thought to be news of a new God of War game.

The official PlayStation Facebook page hosts an image which poses the question: "Will vengeance bring redemption?"

Furthermore, the letters "GOW" appear in the image's URL. The URL features the string of characters "gowa_fb" which could mean God of War announcement Facebook, or the "a" could be a secret subtitle - perhaps "Ashes", which would partly go along with the God of War: From Ashes name recently trademarked by Sony.

Whilst a new entry in the God of War franchise on PS3 seems most likely, there is also the PS Vita to take into consideration.

God of SNORE. Amirite?

Never got along with 3. Spectacle was nice and shiny, but really I was doing the whole "xxx and the yyy and the xxx and the yyy again" thing. Also the puzzles were nads.

I follow a Sony due on Twitter, and when I said it was God of War he not only failed to deny, he evenly taciturnly confirmed it. "Who said it was GOW?" and "Oh well, I am sure the game will do well even without your support." in response to my "I can't yawn hard enough" comment.
