Sony has finally unveiled the line-up of games that will be available during the PlayStation 3 launch window - a period beginning of November 17. The information was announced at Sony's Gamers Day event in the US yesterday, and the 21 titles are pretty much as was expected bar the disappointment that MotorStorm will not be a launch title. To soften the blow a little, a downloadable demo of MotorStorm will be available from day one.

This leaves only three first-party titles: Resistance: Fall of Man and Genji: Days of the Blade, and NBA 07. The bulk of the launch titles come from third-parties and the pick of the bunch are Ridge Racer 7, Madden NFL 07, Call of Duty 3, Oblivion and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sony has also confirmed details of the previously leaked e-Distribution titles, a service with notable similarities to Xbox Live Arcade. At launch you'll be able to buy Blast Factor, a new shoot 'em-up designed to take advantage of the Sixaxis. Sony also announced several other titles in development for the service, including Go! Sudoku!, Swizzleblock2, Cash Carnage Chaos, Lemmings 2 and David Jaffe's Criminal Crackdown.

Sony also revealed that the first 500,000 PS3 consoles sold in the US will include a copy of Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby on Blu-Ray.

Look at all the names of the titles... They're all rehashes of games that have been released in the past. Nothing NEW here. Just better graphics, sound, and a few plotline changes from the looks of things.

LAME.
