Final Fantasy XIII out Dec 17 in Japan

Ad reveals release date.

An online ad for Final Fantasy XIII appears to have confirmed the game's Japanese release date as December 17, 2009.

Square Enix had begun an online ad campaign for the game on YouTube Japan, with the ad teasing the game's release - no date was shown. However, after changing the url of the ad to include the word "after" as opposed to "before", the December 17 date was revealed.

Expect an official announcement from Square Enix very soon.

All it comes down to is a insentive to buy certain consoles.

I own the 360 version of GTA but have not even botherd with the DLC TBH

Their are no where as near as many exclusive games this gen as their were last gen so they have to give other insentives.

Which is why i mulitplatform game as i don't want to miss out on games ect that i want.

Why should they? one thing the games industry lacks is Respect. and im sorry, Ms have crossed the line before. Yeh they are doing a service to there fan getting DLC for GTA 4. But at the same time they are insulting other gamers such as myself. Ok yeh you go get one up on sony, but if you want to do that go sh*t in a bag put it on their door step and set it on fire.

Exclusive games are one thing, I fully respect Gears of War, halo. and Killzone Uncharted etc.

But, DLC for a game I paid full price for that you are stopping me from getting by waving your Cash about to the Sum of 50 Million Pounds * Apparently* all I can say is im Glad Im getting a Game from Rock Star for me.

Any way. I wish they would stop doing it, this is a slightly different situation. But they are stilling flashing the cash. And it is all just to piss gamers off like me, and to spark there little fanboys into a war with other fanboys

It has to stop or this industry is going to piss on its own leg

Sony could have easly paid for it to remain exclusive thats what I am getting at.

So many games have lost their exclusivenes this gen and it was only a matter of time for Square Enix to follow suit.

Yeh Sony Losing an Exclusive is not there fault. If I paid Square to make it for my Console and I gave them enough money they would. But as Microsoft are the only ones with more money than Seance they are the only one of the three that do it.

Since when did Sony ever have exclusive rights to Final Fantasy? 1-6 were on Nintendo consoles and 11 was on the 360 but not PS3.

This is Microsofts fault, they could easily just let Square release it on PS3 in December but no...they have to bribe them into delaying it.

Blame sony for loosing the exclusive rights for out side of japan as well as microsoft for getting even rights.

Yeh but it is like some one putting a Copy of Fifa 09 in front of you, and saying dont play it till Pes is out or some thing Stupid.

PS3 version Done and Voiced in English. Why am I waiting? Xbox version. Why Should I wait, No idea :(

Hmm well I was going to say that means the game is done. Sadly it means the Game should be done, but thanks to MS we in Europe still have to wait, Why? The Ps3 Version is clearly Done, So let us have it. Why Should I have to wait for the 360 version to be done.

The Japanese get it now because it is a PS3 exclusive in Japan. We get done over again :(
