Final Fantasy XIII confirmed for March 9

Will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIII will be released in Europe and North America on March 9, 2010, for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

"Final Fantasy XIII promises to be a huge event in the 2010 gaming calendar," said Phil Rogers, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Europe. "This is truly a landmark title, arriving simultaneously for multiple platforms for the first time in the history of the series. We are also immensely proud to be able to bring the game to the European and PAL audience much earlier than was publicly anticipated."

The game's out in Japan on December 17, although will only be available on PS3.

This game will be truly epic. The selling of the PS3 and this game is also going to be epic.

Week after my birthday. There is, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and God Of War III to come out in March. I think christmas next year will indeed arrive a lot quicker :laugh:

I wonder how many PS3s will sell that week in Japan? It's already goin reasonably at the minute for the new PS3 model over there after the price drop, it even outsold the DS last week which is an achievement.
