Square Enix has announced the line-up of games it's set to put on show during next week's E3 - but unless the publisher is holding out on us, don't expect too many surprises.

Square's line-up includes early looks at Thief, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix, Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, with additional info on mobile titles Deus Ex: The Fall and Mini Ninjas also set to be revealed.

A live broadcast of its E3 booth will be available to view online.

"Square Enix continues to show its global creative presence like no other game publisher with products from its internal studios around the world as well as key partners," said Square Enix representative director Yosuke Matsuda. "As the industry continues to diversify and expand Square Enix is poised to lead that change with products showcased at this year's E3."

But the titles listed above may not tell the whole story: a Final Fantasy announcement has also been teased for Tuesday.

I wish they didn't give us the lineup of games they're going to show. It's as if we're lying in bed on Christmas eve and then your dad comes in with your presents and starts opening them early for you for no apparent reason.

It depresses me to see the direction they've taken Mini Ninja's as a franchise. The first game on consoles was quite a fun little game, with some stealth, action, platforming, and very open levels. It was also an extremely good port to the Wii. Apart from graphical fidelity, nothing was lost in the transition.

... Now all Eidos seems to want to do with that IP is make crappy phone games, and a bad downloadable game, that was nothing like the main game.

As for the Final Fantasy game teased that probably is, the game they mention during the PS4 event. Although like BC said an FF RPG or the localization of Dragon Quest 10 for Wii U would be nice. What would also be nice is some more localization news for Bravely Default on 3DS!

A Final Fantasy title teased? I'm guessing a Wii U FF title, possibly Crystal Chronicles. Or maybe a tactics title for the 3DS or Vita.
