Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse Features for PS3

On: PS3Xbox 360

Welcome to Heads-up, our weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down of the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Monday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to smash open your piggy bank so you can spend its coin-shaped guts.

Worth a look

There's a bunch of games coming to stores this week which we're yet to form a strong opinion on, but may well prove worth your time. LEGO Lord of the Rings looks most likely to hit the right notes, being the latest in a series of always entertaining titles. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is hoping to win over the hardcore Sony fans, much in the same way that Super Smash Bros. has managed for Nintendo, but the jury is yet to return a verdict on this.

We've also got Disney Epic Mickey 2 which sees the ever-popular mouse return in a 3D platforming sequel. The first title had its backers on Wii, but will the transition to high definition pay off?

And the rest...

I love heads-up, one of my favourite features, especially when it turns up a game I've completely lost track of and forgot was coming out.

Would love to see the monthly version, but not just for game releases, but anticipated stories, reviews, articles, crazy predictions and so forth for each month on Videogamer.com itself.

I'm holding back this week, Far Cry 3 is looming and I've been looking forward to it for many a month simply because it's got a bit of a Just Cause 2 vibe about it and Far Cry 2 showed so much promise.
