DLC Royal Rumble - PS3 vs Xbox 360 vs Wii
Who comes out on top in this week's DLC round-up?
The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.
Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service. Releases outside of the UK could vary.
PlayStation 3 - PSN

This week's PS Store update is pretty decent with two game demos and a nice selection of DLC to choose from, but what really lets it down is its discrepancy compared to the North American store refresh. On the US store you can get hold of Fatal Inertia EX and download the impressive sounding Metal Gear Solid Database - a real must for all fans.
It's also worth noting that while the two demos are well worth a look, they've arrived later than their Xbox 360 counterparts. Golfers can purchase a new course for Hot Shots Golf and those that haven't already picked up the two Warhawk add-ons can now do so in a new Combo Pack.

Chris is obviously living in the past, the past where the 40GB PS3s had the worst failure rate of any console and PSN came free with extra lag spikes. now, both sets of hardware are very reliable and XBL is so much better than PSN because it costs, although the PS3 has undoubtedly better media capabilities what with BluRay and all that jazz :P
Chris
To top it all off, the Playstation Network is free, and the console it comes on only has a .01% failure rate. Too bad XBL costs money, and the worst part is that it may not even work half the time; your 360 has crapped out to the RROD
