Last week BioWare announced that its upcoming fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Origins was to be released in November, a few weeks later than the previously confirmed October date.

Speaking to IGN, the developer has explained its reasons for the slight delay.

"We're just taking a little time to finalise things," said Dragon Age: Origins executive producer Mark Darrah. "We're focusing on making sure that we bring each SKU up to quality."

Asked why PS3 gamers will have to wait even longer than PC and Xbox 360 gamers, Darrah simply stated, "this is just the order we've chosen to [release] them in."

Dragon Age: Origins will be released on November 6 for PC and Xbox 360, with the PS3 version following later in the month.

Its still getting a PS3 purchase from me. With DLC, I'm obvisously going to opt for the PS3 verison.

I'm not bothered if I don't get the game the same day as PC and 360 users. Makes me more eager to play the game!
