QuakeCon 2012, North America's largest Bring-Your-Own-Computer LAN party, will take place at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas between August 2 and 5, id Software has announced.

Attendees can already reserve special room rates at the hotel by calling 1-800- Hiltons and ask for the QuakeCon 2012 rate ($154 per night). More details are available on the QuakeCon website

After its no show at last year's event, everyone's hoping 2012 will be the year of Doom 4. Also expect plenty of panels and games from id parent Bethesda.
